Today, I was pleased to notice that supermarkets in Romania also open on Sundays. My cereal I stretched with sparkling water today, because my milk was empty, but I had to realize that still water would have been the better choice.

Until Giurgiu there was relatively little traffic on the country road. Afterwards it became only once briefly two-lane, up to the turn-off to Bucharest.
