Danube Delta - Constanța

Description

When I started in the morning I already had the most beautiful part of the Danube Delta behind me. Only a few birds (storks, great crested grebes, pelicans) could be seen and a turtle. The route was quite long and hilly again and in the harbour and industrial area in front of Constanța there was a very strong headwind. So I reached my destination the beach at the Black Sea in Constanța not before the evening.

Reversing options:

train: only folding bikes allowed
bus

Flixbus: no guarantee that the bike can be taken along
Atlassib: max. 70kg luggage and 20kg per piece of luggage → front wheel removed and a box made around with 80m of plastic wrap

My favorite dishes on the tour:

scraped out warm gorgonzola with bread
Spaghetti with tomato paste and anchovies/tuna or pesto + olives
